Exhibition “Fields of Poetry”
by Karina Alons
Fields of Poetry
Inspired by botanical fields, gardens, and the gentle rhythm of outdoor life, this series combines vibrant colors with the charm of rural living. From a distance, the textures merge into a harmonious landscape. Each work is also accompanied by a short poem, further deepening the poetic atmosphere of the painting.
Impasto Impressionism
With the Katharina's, Karina blends impressionist influences with bold impasto brushstrokes: thick, tangible layers of paint that bring the surface of the painting to life. Up close, you see an almost abstract interplay of paint, color, and texture.
Frames
The frames enclosing the series are also an integral part of the artwork. Their aged, raw appearance reflects how nature gives and takes. The frames have been personally hand-finished by Karina to create a unique character that enhances the feeling of flower-filled fields, charming gardens, and the tranquility of the countryside.
Karina Alons
Born in Drenthe, Karina has been surrounded by green forests and vast natural landscapes since her youth. Walking plays an important role in her life and work. Wandering along unknown paths, she follows her feet without a fixed plan. In this way, she encounters unexpected fields, blooming roadsides, and quiet places in the landscape.
